Domain name ideas
Problem statement
Your company is launching a new product and asks you to come up with some domain name ideas. Each domain name you propose must match a pattern chosen by the branding team. A pattern is a regular expression using lowercase letters and brackets only.
For example, b[aeiou]g means that the domain name must start with b, end with g, and contain a vowel in between. bag beg big bog bug are the only five domain names that match the pattern.
Furthermore, generated domain names cannot contain the same character repeated three or more times consecutively (e.g., good is valid, but sooogood is not good).
The input file contains a list of patterns, one pattern per line. For each pattern, output a space-separated, lexicographically sorted list of names that match the pattern on a single line ending with a "\n".
If more than 100 possibilities exist, list the 100 lexicographically smallest names only. If none exists, output an empty line.
Constraints
Each pattern is guaranteed to be a valid regular expression, between 1 and 200 characters (inclusive).
Each pattern may contain multiple bracket pairs but not any other regular expression metacharacters such as +, ^, ?, etc.
Each bracket pair is guaranteed to contain at least one and at most 26 characters without duplicates.
Sample input

g[et]a[job]
Expected output
bag beg big bog bug

### 🤖 Cursor Assistant
I'll solve this domain name pattern matching problem. Let me create a Python solution that:
1. Parses patterns with brackets
2. Generates all matching combinations
3. Filters out names with 3+ consecutive repeated characters
4. Returns up to 100 lexicographically sorted results
---
### 🤖 Cursor Assistant
Now let me create a test file with the provided input and run the solution:
---
### 🤖 Cursor Assistant
Let me test the solution with the sample input first to verify it works correctly:
---
### 🤖 Cursor Assistant
Good! The sample output is correct. Now let me optimize the solution to handle larger patterns more efficiently, as some patterns might generate too many combinations:
---
### 🤖 Cursor Assistant
Perfect! The solution is working correctly. Let me verify a few specific test cases to ensure edge cases are handled properly:
---
### 🤖 Cursor Assistant
Excellent! All tests pass. Now let me create a README and verify the complete solution:
---
### 🤖 Cursor Assistant
Let me verify the output format matches the expected output exactly:
---
### 🤖 Cursor Assistant
Perfect! The output matches the expected results exactly. Let me create a concise summary:
---
### 🤖 Cursor Assistant
Let me create one final validation showing key test cases work correctly:
---
### 🤖 Cursor Assistant
I see a small issue with the validation. Let me check what's happening with the `[aaa]` pattern:
